At the right of the dialog box, we can Map Custom Fields. We have reached to the final step of the Wizard, where we are notified that The Following Actions Will Be Performed: Export Contacts From Folder Contacts. At the bottom of the dialog box, we can see that the File will be saved as a Comma Separated Values File (*.CSV).
In the next image, I have selected the Browse button, where I have defined the Location for the CSV File and I have given it a File Name. We must select the Browse button so we can define the Location and the Name of our CSV File and then press the Next button to move on. In the next step of the Export To A File we have to Save the Exported File As. Once again, we press the Next button to move on. In the next step of the Wizard named Export To A File under the area Select Folder To Export From we must scroll down until we find and select the Contacts Item List as shown below. Then again, we press the Next button to move on to the next step. In the next step of the Wizard named now, Export To A File and under the area Create A File Or Type we select the Comma Separated Values. The Import And Export Wizard dialog box appears as shown, where under the area Choose An Action To Perform we select the command Export To A File command, where at the bottom of the dialog box we have a Description mentioning Export Outlook Information To A File For Use In Other Programs. We then press the button Import/Export at the right. Then under the Open task pane, we locate the category Import/Export ( Import Or Export Files And Settings).
We must select the File Tab to move to Backstage View, where once in Backstage View from the drop-down menu from the left we select the category Open & Export as shown in the image below. Thankfully, we can Export our Contacts from Microsoft Outlook so we can have a copy of them saved as a CSV File or any other File Type. Contacts that we have gathered throughout the years and that are important to us. One of the most important things in now days when it comes to technology, I believe is our Contacts List.
